My year in Grill

Sixtus lodge

Sixtus lodge was amazing and one of the best parts of my year except for the fact that there was no mud run but there was a glowworms cave and I learnt something new the part that glows is there poop. There were also lots of activities but the challenge course was my favourite thing [besides the water slide]. There was also a huge gorge walk that no one liked mostly because it took two hours.

Also there was a berm trail but it was not scary at all I was just scared that I would get bitten by a spider or something that would give me a itchy bite.

Production

This is not really a great thing for me but I still want to remember so anyway the Cinderella and Rockerfella production was ok I was in the boys dance, ball scene and also the final scene of course. The boys was amazing but I personally did not like that but I bet lots of other people liked it but I just didn't like it at all.

That's pretty much all I can remember so bye.

 

Culture sports

Next Tuesday at 1.30 we are having a sports rotation but it only has culture sports. I am doing T ball know what your thinking "T ball is not cultural to anything" and you are correct but baseball is cultural to u.s.a and T ball is just a tiny version of baseball and anyway it needs to be safe for kids so we did T ball [I acutely did not chose the sport someone else did so don't go screaming in the comments WHY DID YOU CHOSE T BALL!

So anyway I am running T ball with 3 other people but we are going to separate the groups in to two games so only two people are going to be on each game and if you want to play a game of T ball here is the equipment you will need 1 bat, 1 ball, 4 bases [if you cant get bases use hula hoops], at the max 9 players each team and some bibs if you want to know who is in who's team and a out line maybe some cones.

The reason why I am doing this is my sports group and the rest Senior syndicate are doing about culture diversity I was acutely the last one to join a group and I joined sports and there are other groups but I am not going to talk about them.      

My writing

Here is a narrative about the Lyvi [not real] the Lyvi is my name Leevi but translated into hieroglyphic hope you enjoy the writing so.

LYVI

Once in ancient Egypt there was a creature called the Lyvi. It was part slug and part viper snake with skin that is covered in reed leafs.

One day the Lyvi saw a vulture circling  around and as soon as the vulture saw him it it swooped down to catch the Lyvi. The Lyvi wasn't able to fight back so it ran away as fast as it could but was not very fast because it was half slug but luckily the vulture thought it saw a lake so it flew down get the water but was just a  hallucination from not enough water that day . That gave the Lyvi just enough time to escape                

The Lyvi needed to find a way to get past the vulture otherwise it can’t get to his food. His food is the double reed leaf but since the vulture was there the vulture would eat all of its food and the Lyvi would die so it started to plan.

20 minutes later the Lyvi had come up with a plan to stop the vulture so the Lyvi put his plan into action so it started with walking around with some water in a bottle [which he stole] until the vulture notice then when it swoop down the Lyvi would throw the bottle down a hole then the vulture would go down the hole and then the Lyvi would put a cage on top and then the vulture would be trapped and then the Lyvi would leave the vulture in the hole for a week and went back to get his water back     

My learning

my learning this year is defiantly different then my other years at this school with stuff like breakout edu [which I have a post about if you want more info on it]  fast track, and always having a device to do all my learning with.

Let me tell you a little more about fast track. Fast track is a thing on google classroom [sorry forgot to tell you that also I have google classroom] and fast track has all the tasks for the week. google classroom  is where I do most of my learning and planing for the week but some tasks are on different places like blogger which I am doing a task right now and other places to.

The task I am doing right now is the blog challenge it is where I have to do a post about anything I want and I would tell you the rules but I forgot them so thats really it for now so.

bike safety

On Wednesday last week I had bike safety with a police officer and a another person we learnt about all the road rules for bikes and after lunch we had a re fresh of what we learnt in the middle block.

Some of the rules were like top of the t goes before me and no more then two bikes can ride beside each other. Most parent's won't know most of the road rules these days but you will get the hang of them one day.

Anyway on the courses we were put into separate groups and both groups went one at a time the group I was in went last but after my turn everyone went together it went perfect besides some crash here and some people that weren't even on the road and a few people going the wrong way.

Thats really all to talk about bike safety so.

Athletics day

On Wednesday I have my athletics day and all the events that will happen are long jump, high jump, shot put, long distance, sprints, hurdles, throw and relays.

There are also the championship events which is were instead of doing it at the school you do it some where else I can't give you anymore info because I have actually never been but this year I might get in because I have entered in long jump and discus [I was quiet good last year and I have improved so I have a better chance then long jump].

Athletics I have once come 3rd but it might have been my brother because were twins but anyway back to the topic on Athletics we will be doing athletics the whole day [if you didn't guess already] and also I think I made the relay team but at the same time I might not of but any way I am hoping for the best and that is really it.

Breakout Edu

This term our teachers gave us a new task and it was called Breakout Edu which is where you have to find clues to unlock the lock on a box and after you open the box and there is.

did you really think that I would the surprise for you even though you might not do it I'm still not going to spoil the surprise for you.

so after the whole class did it we got to teach it some classes did it fast but some did it really slow and did not finish it.  

That is basically all there is to talk about breakout edu but the secret in the box is some.

Agency Target

This is one of my pieces of writing. it is a explanation of this agency target in my classroom and the closer you get to the to the middle the more in powered we with our learning. So I hope you enjoy my writing.

The agency target is made of six parts. These six pieces are Learning pit, Learning spaces, Striving for excellence, Collaboration, Knowing myself as a learner and Managing and designing my own learning.

The six parts of the agency target are also cut into three sections. One of them is red, this means you are guided and need help with this part of the agency target. There is also orange which means you are starting to manage your own learning but still need a little bit of help. Green means you are in power of your own learning and learn effectively and efficiently.

The agency target helps us with managing our own learning and gives us power of our own learning.

my production role

My production is called Cinderella and Rockafella. My part in the production is the ballroom scene where at the start I have to do a dance [which is a cool dance] and there are kids from from the middle and junior syndicate and also from my class but everyones a boy who is in the dance.

Back to my ballroom scene in this scene girls come in and famous people come in from the front of the stage and after they all come in we do another dance and do some sinning and after that we have our school band play and thats were the two main characters come dance to the band and so does everyone else does and after all that the scene finishes and we don't go back on until the final scene.
